For several months, Miss Michele and I have been aware that the 10AM EST time slot for our weekly Tarot Chat excluded many of our readers due to work or family commitments. As family women ourselves, chat would often find Miss Michele with a toddler on knee and I (on the opposite side of the world) needing toothpicks to keep my eyes from drifting closed in exhaustion. Finding a time that suites everyone just isn’t possible and while the 10AM EST time suited us in varied degrees in the past our changing lives and the growing demand from our readers lead to selecting an all new time slot for our weekly Tarot Chat.

Along with the one-year anniversary of Future-Tarot this month, we are also celebrating a very special first birthday. On July 28, 2008, Simon Gabriel (son of Mysti and Rob) was born at 24 weeks gestation, weighing only 1 lb 7 ounces and measuring 12 inches long.

In honor of Simon’s first birthday, for the next week, beginning today and continuing until Friday, July 31 (Midnight, EST) we will donate all money from tarot orders to March of Dimes, the nonprofit organization devoted to pregnancy and newborn health and dedicated to helping prevent infant mortality, birth defects and premature birth. We can think of no better way to honor Simon’s very existence, as well as his mom’s perseverance and strength of character.

Miss Michele will be appearing Live on the RadioXShow next Wednesday night, July 29, around 11:00 PM. While she will be offering free readings, as always, on the show, she will also graciously accept donations to the March of Dimes during her appearance.

A bit about our launch..

Yes, we admit it. Future-Tarot.com is not…quite…finished. We have lots more we’d like to add to these pages, including tarot book and deck reviews, a comprehensive list of tarot resources, and more.

The resident psychics, Serenity Bly and Miss Michele drew a timing card. The Moon came up in the reading, indicating a propitious launch date of July 18. The Moon symbolizes re-birth and new beginnings, and, as this is a re-birth of Miss Michele’s old tarot site, it seemed perfect! As the Moon also relates to psychic abilities and feminine intuition, it seemed the perfect card to represent the launch of a tarot site run by two work-at-home-moms. We didn’t want to delay the site just because of a few minor details.

However, we decided to make a compromise and give our vast social network a “sneak peek” at Future-Tarot, with the opportunity to receive free readings before our true public launch on August 15. So here you are. Please post a comment and let us know how you like it!

I will continue to offer readings from $5, with no more than a three-day turn-around, in order to better serve my customers. I will also offer my other spreads, and will continue to run discount specials.

If you would like a FREE tarot reading from Miss Michele, I will still provide those, “live” on a weekly basis!

You can find Miss Michele on the RadioXShow every Wednesday night at 11 PM (eastern time). The radio show begins at 10, and I urge you to get there when the show begins, as free reading slots may fill up quickly! You can call in with your questions or post them in the available chat room. (Miss Michele will be hanging out in the chat room prior to her appearance to answer questions *about* tarot or to just enjoy the show with RadioX listeners.

Miss Michele will also offer LIVE, text based readings in the Echo of One chat room. Time to be determined, but it, too, will be every Wednesday. I can also offer live, paid readings at other times in the chat room and will work with your schedule. There will be an additional charge over the price of the reading for a live reading, but it affords the opportunity to ask follow-up questions and interact with Miss Michele.

I have enjoyed providing free readings for the community, which is why I’ll continue to keep my prices low… starting from $10 for a four-card reading will answer your question about any one specific area of your life with more detailed readings also available.

I hope you all understand, and do check back every regularly, as well, to see new readings, and learn more about the tarot as I will strive to provide more resources online, as well.
