[Serenity Bly] Now, Jen wants a year overview in three card?

[Miss Michelle] ooohh!! I think you better draw these, SB, as I may be too biased w/ inside knowledge.

[Serenity Bly] Ok. Let me do a quick shuffle then.

[Miss Michelle] Just because I KNOW what the cards will be… and that’s not a good way to start a reading.   
[Serenity Bly] pfft, there she is with her preconceived notions.

[Jen_N] I am quite excited about this year.

[Serenity Bly] OHhhhhhhh Can I have your 2010, Jen?

[Miss Michelle] ROFLMAO!! I guess it’s not just my beliefs.   

[Serenity Bly] In the past we see The Moon. 2009 was a bit of a mess, you lacked direction and have been rocked by life throwing its boulders in your path.

[Miss Michelle] I also see the Moon as deception… often self-deception.

[Jen_N] Yeah. You could say that. A mess inside and out a lot of times, it seems. And, yes, there was some substantial self-deception (unconscious/unrealized, perhaps) going on.

[Miss Michelle] I think you were psyching yourself out, deceiving yourself into believing you were less than you are.

[Serenity Bly] I feel like there may have been a significant health scare. Literally the potential for terminal illness but the next two cards makes me fairly certain that that scare didn’t substantiate. But mostly the Moon indicates emotional upset and a lack of self-esteem. You’re torn between your passions and interests which destroyed any sense of focus and got in the way of your ability to look ahead with any clarity.

[Jen_N] Yeah. Been going to the local Wound Care Center for diabetes-related problems with my left leg. I think so, MM. When I would get glimpses into that, I actually scared myself. Now I’m working on embracing that.

[Serenity Bly] In the present we see The Wheel of Fortune. This one is upright, you’re open to the guidance of fate. You’re being given a greater destiny and just have to listen to where you’re being sent next.

[Miss Michelle]

[Serenity Bly] Pay attention, look outside and in. And then follow your heart and soul because it’ll make you some very good money.

[Miss Michelle] Upright also typically means simply, “A change in things for the better,” too, right?

[Serenity Bly] The future for this year shows an Eight of Pentacles, working steadfastly to master a skill/trade and doing well from it. Making a career, a lifestyle, from whatever you’re putting your hands to. You’re physically involved in creating and are developing your abilities, honing the craft.

[Jen_N] I honestly have to laugh out loud at “putting your hands to.” That could be taken quite literally. I started a new site today since I can’t do Etsy at the moment due to lack of a credit card. But I *do* have PayPal and Weebly has a shopping cart function I can use.

[Miss Michelle] Nice! Crafting?

[Jen_N] Yup. I’m putting my jewelry, crochet, and some painting on there.   

[Serenity Bly] There is no sense of hardship or warning coming from these cards. But with three cards it’s impossible to get a full view of an entire year. It’s a highlight and if you’d like more detail I recommend the 12-Month Spread.

Serenity Bly the cat is attacking me as I draw the cards. I wonder how Basement Cat influence carries on Tarot Cards.

[Tilanthis] Last time I had a reading it shared that I may already know the woman who will become my romance interest. I’d like to ask about love again, should I ask a question or will “general” love work?

[Serenity Bly] General love life works.

[Tilanthis] Alrighty… have at it!

[Serenity Bly] In the past we have The World, I feel this cards meaning is a little different from the norm, while yes, it does indicate a time of achievement and accomplishment I also feel it is pointing out that OTHER aspects of your life have been coming together, you’ve been growing and flourishing, creating harmony and balance within the spheres of your life and are finally able to look at it with a sense of achievement and accomplishment.

[Tilanthis] Absolutely! LOL. And that is my November card from the 12-Month Spread you ladies sent me, too.

[Serenity Bly] The Page of Swords in the Present and the Five of Wands in the future have a different story to tell when it comes to your love life. But, ironically, a similar message to that given in the past. The Page of Swords indicates a sense of arrogance and immaturity. He is literally ‘blowing in the wind, full of hot air”.

[Miss Michele] What deck are you using, Serenity?

[Serenity Bly] The Mythic Tarot, my usual. I rarely get pulled to the one other deck I have and haven’t splurged on new decks despite wanting to.

[Miss Michele] It seems like–HATE to say this–you’re still not *ready* for love. You’re having FUN. Still experimenting with life, finding your way.

[Tilanthis] Odd… I feel like I’m done with that…

[Serenity Bly] The Page is lingering but the Five of Wands feels like a very near future. In it he’s going after what he wants and learning to put thought behind action. Wants are inspiration and passion. But the five of wands feels like an illusion. In the story the Mythic Tarot tells, the young man is going after the golden fleece. But I feel like the fleece is a false reward, it’s like you’re chasing after the insubstantial, something that isn’t real. It’s bluster and, although you may triumph, the enjoyment of ‘winning’ will fade swiftly.

[Miss Michele] hhmmm… Looking at the five of wands in your deck, Serenity, I feel like it tells a story that the man is fighting the dragon WITH the maiden. So in the future, you will find someone similar to yourself, wanting to play, sharing the same values.

[Serenity Bly] It’s the old Myth of Jason and the Golden Fleece.

[Tilanthis] Well, good thing Rachel doesn’t want to get into anything serious until after the holidays.

[Serenity Bly] What I’m getting here is that any relationship you might go into in the near future won’t give you the fulfillment you’re really looking for. Perhaps you’re looking for love that needs to come from yourself first. Every page is young, immature, this Page of Swords is also arrogant. But he has a strength to harness. What it really comes down to is allowing yourself to self-sustain. If you don’t NEED someone else in your life you’ll find the someone you find will, rather than fill a hole in your life, complement you.

[Tilanthis] You know what… I needed to be told to back off and let things work themselves out… What will happen will happen, the universe gives us what we need, when we need it and are ready for it and that’s what I’m looking for.

[Serenity Bly] Well, what the cards are saying is that no matter what kind of fight you put up, when you get that prize you’ll discover it isn’t what you wanted to begin with. All you can really do is give it more time, learn to be content within yourself, embrace the World as it comes to you.

[Tilanthis] And if I don’t put up a fight? Back off and just let things go?

[Serenity Bly] You’re not giving up anything you need if you choose not to fight, except perhaps the personal thrill in the battle. There is nothing wrong with a good fight, so long as you understand the fight itself is the reward, not the golden fleece at the end of it. The thrill of the chase, not the deer.

[Miss Michele] And if you don’t fight, you don’t fight. Then instead of a playmate there won’t be anything. Which is okay too. You have the choice.

[Tilanthis] I agree. Something to think about… I’ll continue to focus on myself and the steps I’ve been taking in my life and will see what comes my way.

Serenity Bly I’m all for a good fight myself. I don’t WANT the fleece but it’s a lot of fun to take a tumble with the dragon anyway. But then I might be a little wicked.

[Tilanthis] I was looking back at my reading… and it has been SPOT ON and I haven’t really referred to it at all…. you can see it in my Blog! At the start of my life changes. It’s so interesting.

The above transcript is from a Wednesday Live Chat but later that day, as Serenity Bly washed dishes, a follow up message came that she felt compelled to share with Tilanthis:
In your reading we mentioned that it felt like you weren’t ready, but it came to me that “SHE may not be ready”. You may ‘feel’ ready and are growing increasingly frustrated with the waiting without understanding that SHE needs more time to mature and grow within herself (not that your cradle snatching necessarily but that she’s not emotionally available yet either) She is out there already but the timing isn’t right. I was reminded of the quote, “When the student is ready the master will appear.” In this case you are both student and master and while you may be ready, SHE may not be.

What do you do when a friend in trouble asks for advice? What do you do if you read Tarot and your troubled friend asks for a reading? Giving bad news in a Tarot reading is always painful but when that bad news is for a friend it can be truly heart-breaking, it can even damage friendships. But when a friend needs help, is there really a way we can say no?

Deb’s friend needs help and has asked Deb to give her a Tarot reading. Like all of us, Deb isn’t keen to give bad news. Miss Michele and I have our own thoughts on the matter but in this case, the Tarot had it’s own advice to give.

[Miss Michele] Deb first I believe?

[Tilanthis] Yes. I’ll wait my turn.

[Amanda] Yes, go Deb.

[Serenity Bly] What’s up Deb?

[Tilanthis] Can I add my interpretations too?

[Deb] Okay, I’ve been asked to do a Tarot reading for someone tomorrow, and I’m not sure she is gonna be ready for the response. She is in a high-stress situation, and has been dreaming of suicide. I’ve been trying to help her get on her feet, but it’s a lot worse than I had thought at first.

[Amanda] Oh dear!

[Miss Michele] Wow… I’d not do it. Just personally, and based on what you’ve told us so far about this particular situation.

[Deb] She asked me to do a reading for her today, but I begged off until tomorrow.

[Miss Michele] At Future-Tarot we make it clear that Serenity and I are not psychologists, life coaches, therapists, or anything of the sort. You are a better friend than I.

[Serenity Bly] Sometimes, when a situation is out of our depth, it is better to refer the querant to a professional.

[Deb] I’m gonna have to do it sooner or later, and this ties in to my stuff about not doing readings that are will upset people.

[Amanda] You know, in moments of crisis sometimes a reading can be a great way to get some perspective. It’s a cry for help… which means she may not be the suicidal type.

[Deb] Yes, I know. I have already told her what needs to be done to get herself out. She needs to disengage.

[Serenity Bly] I recommend doing a PRE-reading, draw cards before she is there. Prepare in advance for the sort of reading she’ll be getting so that you can temper the reading based on what you already know about her situation. But, I would actually say, GET SOMEONE ELSE to do the reading. Because you already know this person, you have an emotional attachment to the outcome and the result. She won’t be as receptive to your reading as she would be to a strangers and is more likely to be hurt by the home truths that may come up.

[Deb] She is determined that I do it. I’m less worried about the emotional attachment

[Miss Michele] If you’ve already been “counseling” her as a friend to a degree, then it’s good to do the reading. You can back up what you’ve been saying. Both in YOUR mind, that confirmation, plus sometimes hearing it from the cards makes a difference.

[Deb] She’s been listening to me, as best she can but I know that until a person is ready, they won’t jump. I told her already to discuss some of this with our WW leader, since he’s really good at getting people to reframe things.

[Serenity Bly] If you do go ahead with doing the reading yourself, draw cards before she is there so you know in advance if any ‘bad’ news is likely to come up. It’ll give you time to seek deeper into the situation for the good that goes with the bad. And remember, there ALWAYS is some. Every bad situation has a purpose, a reason, an upside. It still sucks but the important thing is to shine the light down the tunnel.

[Deb] I know that — I’m sure this has been presented to me as an opportunity to overcome some of my stuff about doing readings that aren’t happy.

[Serenity Bly] But as Artgra mentioned, she most likely isn’t suicidal. Because those who truly are don’t ask for help.

[Deb] True. I’m less worried about her being suicidal than about her sabotaging herself. Her brother is a real piece of work. He makes my sister look like an amateur.

[Amanda] I think you should do the reading. Like i said earlier, maybe it’ll sink in if conveyed through a ‘third party’ so to speak.

[Serenity Bly] And there would be several (some theorize 9 specific and separate) issues that create the trigger for suicide. Basically, in the mind of someone who will go to that extreme life seriously sucks and there are no other options. It sounds like this woman is still looking for options.

[Deb] Yes, she is, but she still wants a magic fix, and those are few and far between.

[Miss Michele] They exist? Where can I order my fairy dust?

[Serenity Bly] I think you’ll find, the worst that can happen from your reading is absolutely nothing.

[Deb] I refuse to rule them out completely, though – know too many people whose lives changed in a flash.

[Miss Michele] And that may very well BE the worst thing–to do nothing–for this woman.

[Serenity Bly] It’s worth doing the reading because it’ll sink in on some level. Even if she’s not really receptive to the idea of “helping herself”.

[Miss Michele] You know, in a lot of ways, the universe gives us magic when we’re open to it.

[Deb] I’m still sure this has come up because this is my stumbling block when doing readings.

[Tilanthis] That is a powerful statement Miss Michele

[Deb] Any advice from the cards, ladies?

[Miss Michele] Oh! You want a reading, too??? lol Just kidding!

[Deb] Oh?

[Miss Michele] Let go of your blocks, they say. (in the form of the Death card.)

[Deb] Gee, how did I know that would come up in a reading for me.

[Serenity Bly] Deb, you might want to read our new Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. It might help empower you to do ANY reading.

[Miss Michele] Followed by Four of Swords, indicating… this card has meant so many things for me over the past few days… I’m not sure how to interpret it anymore. I see this as you’re weighing your options… meditate on it. The card is literally a “rest.”

[Serenity Bly] I suspect the Four of Swords is echoing my earlier advice, to take the time to pre-prepare before the reading. It talks about introspection, pausing, gathering your resources.

[Miss Michele] YES!! The good news is that this WILL be ‘popping the cherry’ so to speak on difficult readings. It will work. And sorry, couldn’t think of a less crude way to phrase that right now.

[Serenity Bly] *chuckles* That’s a terrible turn of phrase. How about ‘turning point’, ‘catalyst’, ‘paradigm shift’?

[Tilanthis] Quite matter of factually… it is the hold the reins, gather your forces and focus your mind and intent.

[Deb] That’s okay. So what’s the last card?

[Miss Michele] The Knight of Wands – Knights are messengers and harbingers of change. You will be FREE, Free as the wind, which is the element associated with wands, to do all manner of readings in the future. BUT you need to let go.

[Deb] That is good to know.

[Serenity Bly] I love the Knight of Wands. It’s the “go for it” card! The advice here seems to be to put aside your personal reservations, face the situation from a subjective perspective, and do the reading as you would if you were expecting good news not bad. Who knows, maybe there is good news ahead for her. Good luck Deb and we’ll look forward to hearing how it goes.

[Cyn] Thanks for your time. It’s the usual sort of question- will a significant other enter into my life in the next few months?

[Serenity Bly] Oh, yay! Relationship question to tie off the night’s chat. I love keeping the balance. Have we got three cards for Cyn’s relationship prospects?

[Miss Michele] No, I drew 10 of Pentacles again and it did NOT feel right. I’m getting similar cards… Serenity, can you draw? I’m just not trusting the deck…

[Serenity Bly] Ok, just a sec then, they’re over –> THERE.

[Miss Michele] I’m sorry Cyn. I’m getting cards that I feel aren’t meant for you, if that makes sense. And rather than give a faulty reading we can have Serenity draw.

[Cyn] That sounds fine. There’s a lot to be said for intuition.

[Serenity Bly] Oh, Ace of Pentacles jumper!

[Miss Michele] The Ace of Pentacles for Cyn… I’d say that shows a focus on career and finance rather than actively looking for love.

[Cyn] I have been focused a lot on my career the past year

[Serenity Bly] Ok, these cards look around about right. In the past you had a King of Pentacles, but he wasn’t everything you thought he was. He was a sound provider who was very earthy and probably worked too hard. But he wasn’t particular affectionate or giving so, now you’re on your own again.

[Cyn] I was hoping things would turn towards finding a mate. Yes, the man was more of a friend than anything else. And you’re right- he was a taker, and very stubborn.

[Serenity Bly] More recently, you’ve been looking at yourself, your own motivations, examining who you are, what you truly want and what you offer to others. The Page of Cups does this in a rather self absorbed way, it’s like you can’t see others while you’re own reflection is in the way. And you might have been looking for love, trying to find someone who is a reflection of who YOU are, not an equal that will balance your strengths and weaknesses with his own.

[Miss Michele] What are the other cards?   

[Serenity Bly] In the future, the Four of Wands points to a new adventure. Instead of focusing on love and romance you’re living life. You’re probably spending more time with your friends and are (or about to be) excited by a new opportunity or seeing an old opportunity in a new way.

[Cyn] Well, this does give me something to think about.

[Serenity Bly] MM, any thoughts on the reversal of a Four of Wands? I’m trying to wrap my head around what additional meaning it gives the card to have it come out backwards.

[Jen] Reversed/inverted can sometimes be a new beginning.

[Miss Michele] I don’t usually read reversals, but I’d say there may be a delay to commitment. Because Four of Wands IS often a marriage, engagement or other celebration. But I feel like her celebrating, in this case, is delaying the commitment Cyn really seeks.

[Cyn] So I need to rein in the partying? (Because we librarians know how to party…)

[Miss Michele] Only when you meet the person.   

[Serenity Bly] I think the reversal indicates that sense of delay, as MM points out. Instead of leaping into it like The Fool would, you’re given time to think about what you’re doing.

[Cyn] Ah, so perhaps there is a person?

[Miss Michele] Becuase conventional wisdom tells us you’re doing exactly the right thing to invite romance into your life.   

[Serenity Bly] *chuckles* Actually, I think it’s encouraging the partying. But not as a means for developing a relationship. It’s a reminder that you have time to enjoy life NOW, and get serious later.

[Miss Michele] Having fun, focusing on yourself…but there’s a mindset there, where you need to be OPEN to a relationship. Watch out for the pack of girls in the corner, that the guys are afraid to approach, you know?

[Cyn] I understand, not to be too judgmental, to exercise good sense.

[Serenity Bly] Oh, that’s a good point. About the ‘pack of girls’.

[Miss Michele] I think that’s where the page of cups comes in, too. It’s the ladies preening in the corner, looking out for their sisters… Guys will approach women in groups of 2 – 3, no more. I actually heard that on a radio show. Someone did a study.

[Serenity Bly] And yes, have fun but don’t go into it with expectations. There is nothing wrong with experiencing that “girl-power” and unity now. But the environment you’re in isn’t necessarily the right one to attract the kind of man you want.

[Cyn] It would be intimidating for a guy. Who wants to be turned down in front of an audience?

[Miss Michele] Yes. And having our girls around gives the ladies more bravery to turn down the guy.

[Serenity Bly] The other thing is, if you’re ready for commitment and seriousness, that man probably isn’t out partying.

[Miss Michele] If you’re alone or with one friend and a guy is chatting you up, it’s like, what have you got to lose… let him buy you a drink. But if he’s pulling you away from the fun time, you’ll think twice.

[Cyn] And I’m not a partier. That’s why I’m having problems finding someone.

[Serenity Bly] Then maybe it’s an invitation to get out there. Let your hair down and socialize. Enjoy it from a social aspect, with a female friend or two.

[Miss Michele] I think that party card/delays is saying something here… it’s totally fine to keep partying if you’re getting fulfillment and enjoyment from that. Nothing wrong with that. BUT if you want a relationship… join other things.

[Serenity Bly] *nods* Yes, that’s what it sounds like it comes down to.

[Miss Michele] Groups that take part in similar hobbies you like, art shows, whatever…

[Cyn] So I’ll get back out there and see what I can do. Things are going well otherwise… but it would be nice to just see things fall into place. But that takes the challenge out of things, doesn’t it?

[Serenity Bly] Yes, put yourself out there, but don’t look for all the traits you already see in yourself. Keep an eye out for those you might normally look past. Because he may not be someone you’d normally consider.

[Jen] Good question. Who is?   I *think* mine’ll be relatively quick…

[Serenity Bly] Lets do yours next then Jen.

[Jen] I’m wondering if teaching is a viable supplement to other things I have going on (writing, crafty-type things, etc.) and, if so, should I *really* put myself out there for it. (The 2nd go-round of the class I’m teaching through the public service dept of the local college started back up last night).

[Miss Michelle] Hmmm… We have the Page of Cups saying something very different than the narcissism it represented in Simone’s reading earlier. But that’s the second card… First, we have the Two of Pentacles, representing all you do have going on right now, and have had in the past. I’ve gotten to really LIKE the Two of Pentacles because, you know, he’s JUGGLING those balls… he’s DOING it. It’s nothing to fear. He’s excelling.

[Serenity Bly] If you’re getting a Page of Cups in the present he’s probably telling you to look at yourself, Jen. Examine what makes you happy, what do you love about yourself. Examine your motivations and your self-perceptions. Do YOU think you can do it? Do YOU want to?

[Miss Michelle] The Page of Cups, in this case, is telling us that you will like the attention of teaching too… Serenity, you interpreted the Page as I’m interpreting the third card, The Moon!!

[Jen] I don’t know about liking the attention of it, but I do like helping people grow in whatever they want to do — in this case, it’s writing.

[Miss Michelle] I think both the Moon and the Page are asking: Does teaching play to your strengths?

[Serenity Bly] I like your “enjoy the attention” aspect of the Page. I’ve always felt the Page was a little too self-absorbed to really feel the eyes of others on him. Which is a good thing in a public speaking / teaching arena. Because if you see only yourself you don’t get stage fright.

[Miss Michelle] Fulfillment might be a better word… But you’re LIKING being in a leadership role.

[Jen] Yeah. Oddly enough. I never thought I’d like doing anything like this until Toastmasters.

[Miss Michelle] Rather than fading into the background… that’s what I meant. Not like, “hurrah, hurrah,” but you’re ENJOYING people paying attention to what you have to say, caring about it.

[Jen] You’re right. I am.

[Serenity Bly] And yes, that’s it, fulfillment. You’ll feel enriched and rewarded knowing you’re helping others. Again, it’s in a serving self sense. You help others to feel better about yourself. Or rather the Page does. The Moon’s whispering to me that it MAY create a little conflict. A sense of split personalities.

[Miss Michelle] (And that’s a great thing!) YES! I feel like the Moon is telling us to watch out for the balance thing… what will GO if you pursue teaching?

[Jen] That’s a good question.

[Miss Michelle] And are you being honest with yourself about doing it all?

[Serenity Bly] You’ll have an extra hat to wear and you need to be careful to bring together all of these aspects of yourself, develop a unity from your strengths.

[Miss Michelle] Which also ties into the split personality thing…

[Serenity Bly] lmfao I love how MM and I both went in the same direction at the same time totally independent of each other. Our higher selves must be talking above our heads.

[Jen] I’m trying to be honest with myself about it. The reason for this is the director of the program asked if I wanted to be included in the spring schedule. I’m trying to decide.

[Miss Michelle] I drew a fourth card, because (before Serenity’s interpretation of the Moon) I had no where to go with it. And the card is the Wheel of Fortune.

[Simone] I love that card! I always have to say WHEEL…..OF…..FORTUNEEEEE….doo doo doo doo dododo doo doo do…

[Miss Michelle] I think that means… If you are MEANT to get it, you will, but if you’re not… Regardless of being *offered* the position, once you listen to the Universe, you will either get it or not, if you are meant to have it (or not.)

[Serenity Bly] *chuckles* That’s MM’s way of saying pay attention to signposts.

[Miss Michelle] (Yes, exactly!)

[Simone] The everything happens the way it’s supposed to whether you like it or not card.

[Miss Michelle] I also think if you keep your eyes open to signs… and possibly journal your concerns and thoughts about this reading… The Universe will TELL you the right course of action.

[MoonlitKim] It seems kind of systematic to me… like you are fitting into a school schedule. Or that everything will fall into place over time.

[Serenity Bly] If everything is leading you in this direction, follow.

[Miss Michelle] everything will…

[Jen] Being in the spring schedule will mean less writing gets done. But… I ultimately really do want to teach, preferably at a college level (hence I want/need an MFA eventually).

[Miss Michelle] I forget where I read/heard it, but when you are working WITH the will of the Universe, it is as if you are moving with the current. When you’re going against it… salmon upstream.

[Jen] Hmm…. There is actually a bit of both (against and with the current) going on here.

[Serenity Bly] Writing is an important part of teaching and your path as a writer may have been laying groundwork for your career as a teacher. If teaching is what you find most gratifying, rewarding, satisfying, follow that road. It doesn’t mean you have to let go of your writing, it means bring your writing hat under the management of your teaching hat, write as a teacher. Not teach as a writer.

[Jen] The class (this time and last) actually didn’t make (upstream), but the people in it both times were excited about it (with current). But that’s where the enjoyment of it comes from, I think, teaching as a writer. lol.

[Miss Michelle] Hmm… yeah… you need to look at teaching as a whole, not just that one experience I think. I think that’s part of the conflict… WHICH persona is stronger? THAT fits in w/ the wheel of fortune, too. Your teaching experience, overall, will turn around.

[Serenity Bly] Jen, I’m being prompted to pass on a message regarding your earlier “against the current” experience with teaching. The message is, “Just getting your feet wet.” Which I interpret to mean, the universe gave you a small group of motivated people who could inspire you to give you the initial thrill, the getting your feet wet experience. It didn’t want to throw you in the deep end. It’s giving you an opportunity to move deeper as you become more comfortable with the wet.

[Jen] OK. I get that. (This group seems more motivated than the last.)

[Miss Michelle] (I love how those messages from beyond so often come as cliches–for me too. LOL)

[Serenity Bly] It comes as a cliche because THEY need to give me something I can interpret. If it’s totally unique and never been used before I have no frame of reference to understand how it applies.

[Miss Michelle] OH!Serenity–that makes sense on the cliches. It always bugged me that my messages came that way–as if my subconscious were full of cliches.

[Jen] Hmm… So now (for some strange reason), I’m thinking along the possibility of “teaching” as in seminars and workshops rather than actual formal teaching with that. (These classes I’m doing are kind of a combination formal/seminar-ish.)

[MoonlitKim] Oooo that’s a good one to consider! And tends to be rather profitable as well.

[Miss Michelle] Jen, that is a GREAT idea!

[Serenity Bly] And teach online, so I can come to your classes.

[Jen] Heh. ANd that fits in with the creativity coaching better, too.

[Miss Michelle] Absolutely. And your whole… persona/business plan.

[Jen] Actually, Serenity, I’m getting an online class together basically as we speak, too.

[Miss Michelle] ooohhH!! Awesome!

[Jen] Miss Michelle, you’re right, it does.

[MoonlitKim] Oh! I think I got it! You were in this position to show you how much interest there is in lonely Oklahoma, so you’d realize how much more interest there would be online for seminars/coaching!   

[Jen] It’s this current group that’s pushing me towards that. Last night, I forgot a list of resources I intended to give them. So they say “Just put it on your website.” You know what? This has actually helped me quite a bit. I think I will be in the spring schedule, but not with any classes I’m teaching this go-round. (Unless popular demand comes along. Thinking creativity-centered.)
