It’s funny, you’re describing the relationship previous to this one — friends disapproved, I was too crazy in love to heed their warnings, there was a very ugly breakup and there may very well have been cheating. I cut off all contact, and the day after I received this reading was the first day in over a year that I laid eyes on the man, just wandering around town; I felt as if I’d seen a ghost.
But my current relationship also is under the weight of a revelation — not of cheating or betrayal, but of another serious issue that I was blind to for some time. I still do not know how that will turn out. I think ultimately the judgment might be his.
