King of Swords

We are back to yesterday’s theme of Discipline, as the King of Swords is a heavy-handed ruler. It reminds me to stay coolly rational and focused on the task at hand. This card may represent two male editors I’m currently working for, their demanding (but fair) standards, and my need to get the necessary work completed (or, in one case, started) today.

It feels like it’s in my hands to set the pace for the day and get things done. I’m capable of originality; my way may not be conventional, but it will accomplish the task at hand.
