[Serenity Bly] What advice does the Tarot have regarding my super secret project that Miss Michele knows about but no one else does.
[Miss Michelle] OH!
[Serenity Bly] Well, my mother does too, but only because I’ve worked on it while at her house. lol
[Miss Michelle] Wait, am I thinking of the same super-secret project? the one you mentioned this morning? Or whichever morning it was I did your yearly spread?
[Serenity Bly] Don’t think it came up in my 12-month. But then I was too preoccupied about the whole man factor. Oh, and THAT wasn’t super secret. Everyone knows I’m considering artificial insemination. *chuckles* Babies without men, I’m all about that.
[Miss Michelle] Damn, and here I went and drew an Empress just for you.
Actually, this fits the other super-secret project, too…
[Serenity Bly] Well, you were THINKING about that when you drew so maybe it relates to AI and not SSP? lol
[Miss Michelle] It could relate to EITHER! Dammit. Okay, we have that Death card again… for EITHER to be successful… you need to let go of something. And THAT is what leads me to believe it’s SSP…
[Serenity Bly] Needs to let go of stupid anxiety. We already knew that. And again it relates to both.
[Miss Michelle] AND that your yearly spread could relate to that, too.
[Serenity Bly] I’d much rather my yearly spread relate to babies without men. That would be nice and a yearlong project with a Ten of Cups culmination.
My SSP, now that I don’t want to drag on all year long.
[Miss Michelle] Yes, you need to get rid of the anxiety but, as it relates to SSP, specifically the anxiety about writing (can I say that much?) and about FINISHING a project. Esp. a big one. Then we have the Empress, showing a birth… you WILL finish.
[Serenity Bly] I’m trying to chunk down, I have SSP’s outline together but am stalling at the writing again. And you know me well enough to see the recurring issues there. I need a firm whack.
[Miss Michelle] thwap! The Three of Rods shows multiple opportunities arising from the completion of this project. This is NOT just a project, it’s the start of an empire… or a larger family if we’re going the other way.
[Serenity Bly] See, it ties beautifully with both situations. The Three being the third child. And the Three being the potential for the SSP.
[Miss Michelle] Yes… it really does. But I typically associate that three with a business opportunity card. But then the Empress… Damn. tarot’s playing games with us.
[Serenity Bly] lol It’s doing exactly what it’s meant to. Making me feel better.
[Miss Michelle] I said, “Does this reading relate to a baby or SSP?” and I got the Hanged Man. I think it’s saying, “wait and see.” In fact, I know it is because I heard it in my mind. LOL
[Serenity Bly] Hanged Man can mean both too. The fact that one is playing a hand in the other. Sacrificing and waiting now is clearing the field for then.
[Miss Michelle] Three majors, too… Whatever it is will be life-changingly significant.
[Serenity Bly] This makes it more about AI than SSP because I don’t really feel SSP is that significant. But the breakthrough involved in both would be. Thank you MM. I feel better, about both.
[Miss Michelle] SSP really could be a stepping stone to a lot of other great things is the sense I’m getting.
[Serenity Bly] thinks my anxiety yesterday and today is probably related to not eating. I’ve been very naughty. Deliberately ignoring hunger until it passes instead of choosing to eat healthy meals at regular times. And I know having an empty stomach makes my anxiety worse.
In a recent Wednesday morning chat, Future-Tarot regular, Deb, had a general question about her future. Serenity drew the cards using her Mythic Tarot Deck.
[Serenity Bly] Do you have a formulated question Deb or just a general ‘future direction’?
[Deb] Hmmm. General, I think. It’s pretty clear that I’m headed back to learning things.
[Serenity Bly] *ponders* So, Deb… You’re going to have a baby. *grins wickedly*
[Deb] lol Not possible, though… and since the SO is in Florida, it would upset him no end.
[Miss Michele] Wait, no. She must have gotten my reading!! jk [Note: Miss Michele is not pregnant, only teasing!] Like when I read for the wrong Serenity.
[Serenity Bly] No, it’s her reading. The two proceeding cards are too much for her to be for you. While she doesn’t necessarily mean ‘pregnant’ I LOVE it when The Empress comes up in the future. She’s full of positive new beginnings and is the warm, loving, motherly energy that, if embraced, will completely turn around the not-so-nice cards of the past and present.
[Miss Michele] I can totally see you as the Empress, Deb.
[Deb] No, I’m the Queen of Swords. Always have been.
[Miss Michele] You are evolving… softening the edges.
[Deb] So, what cards?
[Serenity Bly] The past shows conflict and confusion. Mixed messages and deception, in the Eight of Swords. You’ve been hurt and perhaps feel you can’t trust as freely as you used to. Your faith, either in someone specific or people in general, has been rocked and you’re having to learn how to open up again.
It is interesting that I typed “having” then instead of “you’ve had”. Instinctively that means you’re still dealing with this into the present, with the Two of Swords. Two proceeding Swords leading into The Empress does, as Miss Michele suggested, indicate a softening.
For too long you’ve felt stuck in the middle of things and uncertain which way to go. I feel these cards are person specific so look to your near family and friends and evaluate any tensions that might exist in your relationships with them.
[Miss Michele] Serenity, can you describe the Two of Swords in your deck, please? I keep picturing the three. I know the Two of Swords indicates a need for balance. In my deck, (Hanson-Roberts) she’s a blindfolded girl, swords crossed.
[Serenity Bly] The Two of Swords IS a three, Miss Michele. Three people standing on a barren plain. The querent is in the middle as his closest friends fight it out over him. He’s covering his face, wanting to block out and ignore the tension when what he really needs to do is step into the situation with confidence and determination to settle the matter.
[Miss Michele] Diplomacy will be needed with that card, from that deck! It’s interesting how the deck affects the interpretation and reading. I’m sensing it may be a conflict with your supervisor–and the best way to deal with him is tap into your inner Empress.
[Serenity Bly] Coming back to the Empress in the future I feel she’s suggesting you treat the situation like a mother, or with a maternal hand. Gentle love blended with consistent boundaries.
[Deb] Which makes sense since what binds us is also often seen as supporting us.
[Miss Michele] YES!! You will NOT be captive much longer. Open your eyes to see things as they are, then visualize them as they should be. Make sure your actions are in harmony with your desires.

It was lovely reading for Susie, who has the energy of a vibrant young lady in a learning and transition stage of her life. The next 12 months bring adversity but Susie stands up to it all with a powerful inner strength to come out achieving her dreams. Miss Michele relied on her go-to deck, Hanson-Roberts, for this reading.
August: Temperance: Susie is in a learning period, where she is learning balance, caring, sharing and equality. She’s undergoing a major life change – which may have actually prompted her desire for a tarot reading. She is on the right path with the steps she is taking, and will reap the rewards in September.
September: Four of Rods: Miss Michele is getting a strong vibe of a powerful romantic relationship, and possibly even an engagement in September, represented by the Four of Rods. The Knight of Pentacles as a clarification card, supports this notion. Knights bring a change in status, and this one shows that, moving into the future, Essie will be well-protected, financially-stable and in a much more mature partnership than any she’s experienced in the past.
October: Seven of Swords: Someone may not be straightforward with Susie. Her best bet is to walk away from those she can’t trust. It could be Susie, in fact, who is simply not acting like herself. Has the stress of wedding planning permitted Bridezilla to emerge, or are there other stressors in Susie’s life causing her to act out of character?
November:The Magician: The Magician indicates learning to manipulate your surroundings to your advantage. Susie is growing, and again, learning how to best influence people. When the Bridezilla act fails (and I’m using Bridezilla as a metaphor – it could be any situation in which Susie simply wants her way and doesn’t want to hear the other side), she uses diplomacy to her advantage. Susie may also be learning a new skill to advance her career.
December:Eight of Rods: The Eight of Rods frequently heralds a new job, purchase of a home, or other significant event. Actions move swiftly, leaving Susie with little time to think before she gets exactly what she hoped for. This card also signifies the whirlwind nature of the holidays; Susie will be able to accomplish everything she takes on, with none of that dreaded holiday burn-out.
January: The Tower: The new year brings a Tower moment for Susie, when everything she knows seemingly comes crashing down around her. It’s important to remember, in times like this, that the old guard *must* fall away to make room for new, better opportunities. When one door closes, a window opens — and all those other clichés! Miss Michele also hopes that, with warning that this situation is coming, Susie will have a better chance of handling it. After all, bad things are no fun, but it’s even worse when you’re blindsided. This card could also indicate a complete change in Susie’s thought processes, the next level of her growth. There’s no reason to dread the new year.
February: Five of Cups: January’s “Tower moment” leaves Susie feeling emotionally empty, depressed and distraught. She feels lonely and unsure where to turn. But she’ll get through it.
March: Strength: In March, Susie finds the strength to face everything the Universe has tossed at her in the past few months. She pushes through and comes out a stronger woman for the experience. Miss Michele loves this card, the pure love of the woman petting the lion. The woman in the card gets her strength through unconditional love, a true spiritual and metaphysical acceptance of everything in the world. Hang in there, Susie, you are the woman in the card and you can do it all!
April: Six of Pentacles: April finds Susie feeling stronger and more sure-footed. She’s receiving the rewards she has deserved for her hard work and persistence. Now, she finds it extremely important to be just and fair in her dealings with others. Her fortune will be doled out to those who deserve it.
May: Nine of Pentacles: After such a rough new year, May brings Essie greater fortune and more confidence. Susie is beginning to get in touch even more with her feminine side. Pregnancy may be on her mind, which is supported by the Empress, the overview card for this 12-month time period. Logically placed following the Six of Pentacles, the Nine of Pentacles is a card of “reaping what you sow,” and the Universe owes Susie some very good things.
June: The Lovers: This card often indicates a choice. In this case, however, it indicates a true (and very deep) love relationship. It’s the honeymoon before the wedding. It’s romance and roses. It supports the “fertility” cards in this spread indicating a move toward procreation.
July: Three of Cups: The Three of Cups, like the earlier Four of Cups, can indicate a celebration or a wedding. Miss Michele is reading this card very literally and exactly in that way. If Susie isn’t a June bride, July may be the month.
Overview: The Empress: One of several “fertility cards” in the deck and in this spread, the emphasis this year is not only on Susie actually bearing a child, but also on her building and growing her own world and her family. It’s so inspiring and fun to read about a young woman in this stage of her life.
That Tower card seems extremely out of place in the beginning of 2010 but, not surprisingly, Susie uses her strength, intelligence and all she has learned in the six months prior to overcome the surprising news of change.
Cards: Two cups, three pentacles, two rods, 6 major arcane – The preponderance of Major Arcana show an extremely significant transition year for Susie
Miss Michele and Serenity Bly wish her all the best and hopes she will check back and let us know how the next 12 months are going.
Miss Michele is taking a life-changing program called “The Secret Abundance Files.” It is a 12-week class. She knew when she started it was life-changing — but had no idea how much so!
Last week, week 10 of the course, during our regular Tarot Chat at The Echo of One, Miss Michele asked Serenity Bly to do a reading. Chat host Mysti also provided her own intuitive insight.
[Miss Michele] What life changes can I expect when I complete the Secret Abundance Files?
[Serenity Bly] Want me to draw cards?
[Mysti] *whispers* As long as YOU keep moving forward with the process, you will find many successes. Those moments that feel less than perfect, you must remember are building blocks to bigger and better.
[Miss Michele] Yes, please.
[Serenity Bly] OMG Wow! I need to do this course!
[Miss Michele] Why is that? <--dying to hear!
[Serenity Bly] In the past we have The Tower. Your question is future-focused so, the END of the course is when your ‘past’ card is focusing.
Before you get to that end you’re going to really rock your world. Normally we’d think of a past card as something you’ve already done.
[Miss Michele] I only have two weeks left to the course, BUT the course also provides 1 year of counseling… and networking through the International Masterminds Forum.
[Serenity Bly] Because the question is focused on something you’ll finish down the line the past is actually our present.
You have two weeks of having things shifting, changing, feeling a little scary but ultimately bringing down the walls of the old you to allow for firmer foundations, stronger walls, new beginnings.
[Miss Michele] This also coincides with the move.
[Serenity Bly] Yes, and the move is a part of the changes brought about by the course. So, it’s a very literal, ‘bringing down the walls.
In the present we see the Page of Wands.
You’re running with the ideas and inspiration you’ve been given.
[Miss Michele] <--dying to know the third card
[Serenity Bly] *grins* I should torture you.
[Miss Michele] Maybe this Tower is why I'm supposed to hold off on the [new project]
[Serenity Bly] But I can't really draw out the Page of Wands more than that. You know it's meaning as well as I do. It's moving forward, making things happen, letting the fire burn bright and really getting into it. In the future, we see The Hierophant. – Serenity Bly waits for the ohhs and ahhs
[Miss Michele] Not what I expected.
[Serenity Bly] What, did you expect the Empress?
[Miss Michele] Based on your reaction of “I have GOT to take this course.” Hierophant, to me, is structure, organization, following rules. Works in conjunction with the Hermit to indicate a period of “thinking and planning.”
[Serenity Bly] Ah, see, the Hierophant isn’t structure and organization to me. That’s where the Tarot reader comes into affect with the cards.
[Miss Michele] Yes, Page of Wands is inspiration… I will feel renewed… bright ideas, creativity. But it’s tempered by the Hierophant, knowledge and experience. From your reaction, expected World, Wheel of Fortune or Ten of Pentacles.
[Serenity Bly] In the Mythic Tarot, the Hierophant is a Centaur. He’s standing in the door of a cave, light from above, wearing a crown with his fingers poised to the sky and a scroll in one hand.
[Miss Michele] AHHH!… Totally different than my perception from the Hanson Roberts deck.
[Serenity Bly] The Hierophant is knowledge, particularly the kind that is spiritually fulfilling. It’s connection with a higher power, self-empowerment, inner growth and dominance of yourself as a spiritual and physical being. It’s about finding your inner power and seeking the wisdom within you.
[Miss Michele] OMG!! Okay!! So, once I break down the foundations of what was, I will receive the spiritual fulfillment I’ve been seeking. NOW I get your reaction.
[Serenity Bly] Well, you’re on the right path anyway. I don’t believe in ‘spiritual fulfillment’ – it implies that you’ll reach a high point from which you can’t continue to grow. Fulfilling… is an ‘in progress’ word.
I think what this Hierophant is really saying is that this course is going to let you learn about who you are, what you want, and how to make that a reality. Which, is exactly what the course is designed to do.
Note: You can learn more about the program Serenity Bly and Miss Michele are discussing at The Secret Abundance Files.
