Last month, RadioXShow listener, Beth asked:
Is he going to be happy, now that he’s given up his chance to be here with me?

In the past, the Six of Pentacles shows this young man has had to ask for what he wants from life. He has lived a life around dependency, needs, and security outside of himself. Being at the mercy of what others will lower themselves to grant him has taken a tole on his emotional sense of self and it took a great deal of courage to step away, to step out on his own.

The Ace of Cups in the present indicates his starting again. New opportunities are on the horizon and his personal relationships are given opportunity to flourish having let go of old ties. He is starting fresh and making a way for himself. Joined with the Four of Pentacles reversed I see this as a very young, immature man, almost a boy. He is developing emotional skills for the first time.

He is learning how to love and be loved and while this is scary those skills are building into a foundation that takes him into the future, the Knight of Cups. The months ahead are an emotional journey. It is almost like a quest. He carries with him his emotional cups, looking for sources from which to fill them.

Ultimately, I sense that while he is feeling a little lost and insecure at the moment, this change in his life is leading him toward greater growth and personal development. He will come out stronger, happier, and more in control of the person he wants to become.

Normally a reserved person, a professional and leader who keeps his emotions in check (as signified by the Pentacles) her “King” channels his “air sign” traits to act impulsively and take a chance on Bella and a relationship.

The future, the Ten of Rods, shows that this relationship will be hard work. At times, Bella wonders if it’s worth all the strain. It’s possible they work – or go to school – together and all this closeness creates additional challenges. But anything worth having is worth working at, and, unlike Bella’s previous relationships, this suitor has her best interests at heart. The 10 in this spot shows the relationship will be long-lasting and, in fact, fulfilling. The Ten of Rods in the Hanson-Roberts Deck shows a gentleman, weary with his load of 10 staffs, trudging slowly toward a castle. Hang in there, Bella… that castle on the horizon, and the king inside, is yours for the taking.

Along with the one-year anniversary of Future-Tarot this month, we are also celebrating a very special first birthday. On July 28, 2008, Simon Gabriel (son of Mysti and Rob) was born at 24 weeks gestation, weighing only 1 lb 7 ounces and measuring 12 inches long.

In honor of Simon’s first birthday, for the next week, beginning today and continuing until Friday, July 31 (Midnight, EST) we will donate all money from tarot orders to March of Dimes, the nonprofit organization devoted to pregnancy and newborn health and dedicated to helping prevent infant mortality, birth defects and premature birth. We can think of no better way to honor Simon’s very existence, as well as his mom’s perseverance and strength of character.

Miss Michele will be appearing Live on the RadioXShow next Wednesday night, July 29, around 11:00 PM. While she will be offering free readings, as always, on the show, she will also graciously accept donations to the March of Dimes during her appearance.

A funny thing happened on the RadioX show last Wednesday night. Serenity Bly couldn’t make it, so yours truly, Miss Michele, provided free tarot readings on her own for John Ale’s listeners at www.radioxshow.com.

I should tell you that Serenity Bly had been asking me if I could do a love reading for her when I got a chance, but I hadn’t made the time to do it yet.

Then “Serenity” phoned in with a question: “Is my new man the right one?” she asked.

As Miss Michele focused on the lovely Serenity Bly, an answer revealed itself in the cards.

Only after the show did she discover that Serenity was not Serenity… and, in fact, the querent’s name in the chat room was (ironically enough) NotThatGirl.

Miss Michele asked Serenity — NotThatGirl — how accurate the reading was. Understandably, the querent seemed confused by what the cards revealed. Not only was she “NotThatGirl,” it was NotHerReading!

And so, Serenity’s reading… which actually offers a promising future in the love department.

And yes, if you are wondering, OUR Serenity’s spread was quite accurate, too!

A bit about our launch..

Yes, we admit it. Future-Tarot.com is not…quite…finished. We have lots more we’d like to add to these pages, including tarot book and deck reviews, a comprehensive list of tarot resources, and more.

The resident psychics, Serenity Bly and Miss Michele drew a timing card. The Moon came up in the reading, indicating a propitious launch date of July 18. The Moon symbolizes re-birth and new beginnings, and, as this is a re-birth of Miss Michele’s old tarot site, it seemed perfect! As the Moon also relates to psychic abilities and feminine intuition, it seemed the perfect card to represent the launch of a tarot site run by two work-at-home-moms. We didn’t want to delay the site just because of a few minor details.

However, we decided to make a compromise and give our vast social network a “sneak peek” at Future-Tarot, with the opportunity to receive free readings before our true public launch on August 15. So here you are. Please post a comment and let us know how you like it!
